Karin has over 15 years of experience training dogs. What started out as a way to earn money during college turned into the amazing opportunity to share her dog and people training skills with others. Karin's training methods are rooted in positive reinforcement and individual evaluation. Karin bases her analysis on observing the behavior of each individual dog.
"It has been my dream to help so many families understand how to properly communicate with their pups, and now I get to experience it on a much larger scale! Dog training isn't just about the dogs, I have so enjoyed growing with all of the families I've helped, and I can't wait to meet and grow with all of you!"
Jenny is born and raised here in the SF Bay Area and absolutely loves living in this area. Having grown up participating in the local 4-H clubs and competing throughout Contra Costa County and the state, she's raised a variety of animals, but her favorites to work with continues to be dogs and horses. Her dogs, Shadow and Bear, were a huge part of her life and heart and helped lead her to where she is today.
"I’ve spent the last couple of years using my B.A. in Psychology to work in the mental health and education fields, but have happily decided to return to my roots and pursue a career in dog training and behavior. I am excited to work with and learn from Karin as I grow in this field and am grateful to work with your doggos!"
Amanda loves working with dogs because it simply just makes her super happy to be able to care and understand them! She finds it beautiful how much a dog and a person can have such a strong bond. She loves being able to help educate others on how to give there animals a happy life :) They are just sweet animals that are super intelligent and fun to work with
"Being a part of a team that gets to work with animals everyday is such a pleasure and I enjoy getting to meet all the unique personalities of each dog that comes through!"
Although no longer in the training service, he does visit the group from time to time to yell at the young whippersnappers. He takes part in special events. Though he has trouble seeing and hearing, he is the best dog to help teach other dogs how to be around the babies.
The rabble rouser of the bunch, helps us get your dog fired up in the best way possible so we can assess dog-on-dog issues. She is experienced, confident, and ready to put young dogs in their place. Penny has high drive, and communicates in the best ways.
She hasn't met a dog she doesn't like, specializing in puppy and training of adolescent doggies. While Lucy can be over excited when new people join the group, she is the best at ignoring your shy pup to help coax them out of their shell.
